Just give it a try...

Lettering Lately-please stop complaining
Here in my hand lettering practice, I'm sometimes at a loss for something relevant to write. Commenting on the snow and ice and related traffic and school delays seems to be the popular thing to do these days, but I don't really want to contribute to all of that. So after some deep contemplation, I've decided that this simple request is something I'd like to try to live up my social  media comments and in real life.  Let's stop complaining. Thanks.

A valentine for the electric company

In this season of power outages, I'm feeling lucky that the worst we've had so far has been a six-hour stretch of no electricity.  Just enough that my kids thought it was fun, but not enough to spoil our food or our moods.
So here's a Valentine's Day message for those who work on the power lines.  Thanks...

A little bit of Summer

Sounds easier than it feels with the crazy winter weather we've been having. Just trying to think positive until the warmer weather really comes...

Choose kind

I just finished reading Wonder, a wonderful book that my 10 year-old recently read. What a nice message, which I especially appreciate in the middle school setting. I'm glad my daughter is reading stories about accepting and supporting others, and about choosing kindness.
